To assist with enterprise security and compliance requirements, Yarnlab YarnGate has been developed for to control access control and auditing to provide audit trail of the various Cisco Unified Communications components, as well as other systems that support the HCS platform.
The YarnGate ensures that individual, rather than generic accounts are used by engineers rather than generic accounts when accessing the environments, as well as providing a mechanism to track manual configuration changes.
The following list outlines the objectives of YarnGate
Authenticate – All administrator access will authenticate via LDAP
Authorise – Users can only access systems they are granted access to
Audit – All users will have individually identifiable accounts
Revoke access for specific systems, for groups or for individuals
Auto generated profile based on LDAP username
Additional central logging of extra meta-data in addition to accessed systems
Easily monitor who has OR had access to any particular system.
Access via SSH for all systems via the browser in a common window
