This Feature available from Yarnman version 2.6.6

The following describes the steps required to migrate objects using temporary ‘dummy’ partition in target which may be useful during phased migrations or staged migrations where migration of devices are performed at a point in time but not activated until at a later determined time.

Step 1

In wrangler_ select Mappings, then Source Type Actions

Under Source Type Actions, scroll down to CUCM-ROUTE-PARTITION, change source type action from Clone to Map, then Save Mappings & Templates

Step 2

Create All Route Partition and Intercom Route partitions that exists in source CUCM in the target CUCM. This is required as we have changed migration model of CUCM-ROUTE-PARTITION from Clone to Map

This can be achieved in numerous ways, Export from source using BAT, export from Target Mappings in wrangler_ (this would require Discovery to be run first) or adding them manually (may be many)

note that you will also need to add Dummy Intercom Partitions for Intercom if any used and if that is required

Intercom partitions in target – same as source + dummy

Step 3

Map source Partitions that should be transformed to dummy partition under Target Mappings

In documented example – I am mapping Phone Line partitions to Dummy-PT in target

Perform Migration as per normal
